PHILOSOPHY

Children are very special people who are making wonderful discoveries about themselves and their world. Given a safe, caring and accepting environment with an enriching curriculum, children will be able to learn and grow. Our purpose is to provide such an environment. In addition, we recognize the importance of assisting in the development of the whole child. Therefore, equal consideration is given to the child's social, emotional, physical, cognitive and creative development. We encourage children to think for themselves, express their individuality and develop a high self-esteem.

CURRICULUM

Everyday, developmentally appropiate activities, that enhance learning, are provided in each class. Children are given the opportunity to make choices, problem solve, and learn through discovery and active involvement. The center's thematic approach provides a broad knowledge base and greatly enhances language skills. Children will participate in art, crafts, music and movement, drama, cooking and science and nature activities.

STAFF

We take pride in our sensitive, caring and highly qualified staff. Your director has 20 years experience in the field of education. Teachers have Early Childhood Certificates or Bachelors Degrees in Child Development. We maintain low child-teacher ratios.
